HYATT REGENCY SAN FRANCISCO
Hyatt Regency San Francisco.
You guys start knowing us well, thus you will not be surprised with the fact that we wanted to experience another place during our stay in SanFran. Our choice was quickly made. Hyatt Regency San Francisco appeared obvious to us. If you are among our most devoted readers, you are aware of our taste for Hyatt’s properties, since we already shared travel experiences in Park Hyatt Siem Reap (Cambodia) and Andaz Tokyo Taranomon Hills.
On top of this, Hyatt Regency San Francisco features easily convinced us to stay there. It is perfectly located, on the Embarcadero waterfront across from the historic Ferry Building and close to everything. Morning run along the docks appreciating the sunset, as well as fully equipped gym are examples of simple pleasant moments we spent there. We can also mention the proximity of public transportation cable car, bus, BART, that are all located just a short walk away.
The rooms are featured with a spacious terrace offering a breathtaking view on the Bay Bridge. We could not resist the temptation of enjoying daily 30 minutes up there. It was a lux having such a quiet moment while contemplating the city.
Located on the last floor, the Regency Club is offering a 360 view from another level. If you have the chance to get an access, breakfast and late afternoon drinks and snacks up there are a must do you don’t want to miss. Unfortunately, there is no outdoor area accessible.
The lobby, located on the first floor, is dramatic. Awesome atrium. Apparently boasting the Guinness Book of World Records' largest atrium lobby. We now can show off and claim that we experienced it. To illustrate this sensation of space, have a look at our pictures of the lifts. They are everywhere, visible from the bar / restaurant as well as from each floor when acceding the rooms.
Guests of Hyatt Regency enjoy immediate access and views to both the Financial District and the San Francisco Bay. With convenient location to famous attractions, you may choose to wander through Chinatown to Fisherman's Wharf, take the ferry to Alcatraz, shop in Union Square or board the cable cars for a riding tour of the city all just minutes from Hyatt Regency San Francisco.
